Flake Floors

Fortis offer a selection of coating options to apply your flake floor

System One (recommended for high traffic and car tyres)

After full prepartion of the concrete refer to our technical data on how to prepare) us FORTIS PRIME820 (90% solids epoxy primer). Follow this with FORTIS COAT 527 (non-yellowing 2 pack polyurethane) in the color of choice. Broadcast and dry roll flake into the FORTIS COAT527 before it dries. Vacuum and debur the flake prior to applying 2 coats of FORTIS COAT 519 a high solids single pack, aliphatic (non-yellowing) polyurethane.

System Two (Water based top coats for use internal applications)

After full prepartion of the concrete refer to our technical data on how to prepare) us FORTIS PRIME820 (90% solids epoxy primer). Follow this with FORTIS COAT 527 (non-yellowing 2 pack polyurethane) in the color of choice. Broadcast and dry roll flake into the FORTIS COAT527 before it dries. Vacuum and debur the flake prior to applying 2 coats of FORTIS COAT 526 a water based non-yellowing polyurethane.
